There is no room for unpleasant surprises when you go diving with Sunrise Diving. Friendly crew and professional instructors. Everything is arranged for you from A to Z so that you can focus on dives.
Their boat is not the fastest though so if you want to reach the dive sites faster, look for another option but count with extending your budget 
I recommend Sunrise Diving. |

Fuimos a Sunrise, porque es PADI, y tuvimos una excelente experiencia
Nada se escapa a su organizaci?n, comenzamos con un par de buceos cerca, seguimos con un d?a embarcados y terminamos en un vida a bordo
Siempre nos pasaron a buscar por el hotel puntualmente. En los buceos embarcados, encontramos un bolso con nuestro nombre y el equipo que hab?amos alquilado, BCD, regulador, y traje. Todo el equipo en alquiler esta en muy buen estado.
El vida a bordo muy bien organizado, los briefings muy claros, el buceo se hac?a a la hora se?alada con anticipaci?n.
La cordialidad y buena predisposici?n de todos, hizo tambi?n que pudi?ramos resolver un problema que tuvimos con nuestra tarjeta de cr?dito en el momento del pago.
Una experiencia para repetir. Cuando volvamos a Phuket, bucearemos nuevamente con Sunrise. Claudio y Beatriz (Argentina)

I have always wanted to try diving. Just never got around to doing it until July 2008. Our instructor David Hall sat us down and explained everything about DSD. He took us step by step through all the skills that we require on the day. Friendly, effective and professional. What else can I say about the guy ?!
Now looking at doing my open water back in Brisbane.

When we dropped in last week when in Phuket for a few days with my friend Ines from Amsterdam, to see if we could do some snorkeling up at Racha Yai, Charlie suggested her to do a discover scuba instead.
David Hall was her instructor and I could go along too (being a AOW diver). It was great, loved the dive sites and Ines loved the diving too and will sure go and do her open water one day! David was very patient in given her the necessary instructions 
Thanks guys for everything and hope to be back diving with you again soon!

You guys introduced us to a new love and passion. One of the best experiences we have ever had! So much fun, so relaxed and yet so professional. I am back in England now but planning my next diving trip to Borneo and hopefully returning to see you all in Phuket again soon were i would like to do another course with you maybe advanced or photography.

Das war der sch?nste Urlaub den wir je hatten, dank EUCH! Wir machten den Open Water und Advanced Open Water Diver mit Chris und hatten soooo viel Spa? daran - es war einfach unvorstellbar was wir alles unter Wasser gesehen und mit Chris gelernt hatten.
Unsere Erwartungen wurden weit ?bertroffen. Ein gro?es Lob an Chris, wir werden die Zeit mit dir nie vergessen - und m?chten dir daf?r danken!!!
Super war auch, dass wir als Paar das Gl?ck hatten bei dir einen deutschsprachigen Kurs, alleine zu bekommen.

I went on the Ratcha Yai dive this afternoon; what a great experience!! Decided to hire an instructor as my dive buddy due to my in-familiarity with the local wildlife and diving conditions not to mention lack of a buddy. Stephen Longworth planned both dives and pointed out some really exotic wildlife I would have missed. The first dive was on the Staghorn coral reef. It was great! The second dive was stellar and started with the wreck of a steel hull fishiing boat. Saw lots of exotic corals and fish as well as giant clams. Loved the pacific reef species colors!
The entire event was well planned and executed. With professional equipment and support personnel (Dive boat was big and clean with dedicated crew). Breakfast & lunch were tasty and plentiful. This was the first of many more dives with Sunrise diving when I visit Thailand! Great work! First class service and outcome. Price was very reasonable for the experience. |

I want to thank all of you at Sunrise diving for the way the staff treated me, I felt welcomed. The instructors were very professional and knowledgeable, I don't think I would have gone all the way through divemaster but you made it so fun, I had a great time and I cant wait to come back to finish my instructors license. The staff there are not only my instructors but now are my friends. I want to give a special thanks to Ryan for his patience taking me from no experience all the way through. Ich habe im Urlaub meinen Open Water und Advanced Open Water Diver gemacht. Gro?es Lob an die Tauchschule! Mein deutscher Tauchlehrer Chris hat mir alles super gezeigt. Und eine Menge Spa? hat es auch gemacht. Besonders gut fand ich, dass die Kurse in kleinen Gruppen stattfanden, bzw. ich sagar das Gl?ck hatte einen Einzelkurs zu bekommen. Just wanted to give a huge thank you for the fantastic diving and the superb training we had whilst in Patong.
We had decided not to learn to dive until we reached Ko Tao, but after speaking to Chris his professional and lack of bullshit approach quickly pursuaded us that Sunrise was the place for us to learn to dive.
A special thanks to Ryan Fryer whose expert training and guidance made the experience very enjoyable. Ryans attention to individual needs, safety protocals and friendly manner makes Ryan a credit to Sunrise.

Hallo Freunde.
Bin eben von meinem Urlaub zur?ck und bin eher zuf?llig zu Sunrise Diving gekommen. Ich muss ehrlich sagen: Das war das Beste was mir hat passieren k?nnen. Das gesamte Team ist perfekt organisiert, immer sehr freundlich und stehts gut aufgelegt. Trotz allem Spass und Erlebnishunger ist ?ber allem doch die Sicherheit gestanden und so habe ich mich kurzfristig entschlossen den Rescue Diver zu machen.
Mein ganz besonderer Dank und Anerkennung geht an Instructor Chris "1" ( deutschst?mmiger S?dafrikaner mit sehr guten Deutschkenntnissen )und Divemaster-Trainee Chris "2" ( Deutscher mit sehr guten Englischkenntnissen) welche mir gemeinsam als Team in ihrer un?bertrefflichen Art all das beigebracht haben, was meinen zuk?nftigen Tauchpartner und mir hilfreich sein kann. Es war f?r mich eine absolut neue Erfahrung und Herausforderung.
Obwohl mich die beiden Jungs ganz sch?n in die Mangel genommen haben, hatten sie in kurzester Zeit mein vollstes Vertrauen erlangt.
Einen RIESEN Dank euch beiden !
Die Kr?nung war dann noch der Liveaboard Trip nach Similan Island, alles bestens organisiert und unbedingt jedem zu empfehlen.
Diese Adresse kann ich wirklich jedem empfehlen der -angefangen von Fundives bis zur Tauchlehrerausbildung - sich in guten H?nden wissen will.

well i was unsure if i wanted to go diving on my 18 day trip to thailand but upon meeting dave in one of the bars in town he was out with a very satisfied customer he gave me his card and two days later i walked thru the door the guys gave me alot of information about the different programs i decided to do the 3 day open water course and my instructor was a really mellow, great spirited south african named chris nourse who for a such a young guy knows loads about diving. after the second day of the course i got pretty ill with a stomach bug and they had absolutly no problem rescheduling my last dive to two days later which was just awsome. after completing my course i couldnt wait to do another dive. so i went back to the dive center and booked a trip to the similian islands to do the advanced course and underwater photo. the instructor i got was anouther great guy also from south africa named ryan fryer who was just as professional as chris the diving was amazing and i would recommend it to anyone who is interested. and at the end of it all paying my beer fines turned out to be some of the funniest moments of my whole trip hanging out with the whole staff of sunrise who really treated me like one of there own. to the whole staff of sunrise thank you very very much you made my vacation. also i will be bringing some of the games you all taught me back to the boys and they will all know exactly how to play ping pong and get off the bus. i will be recommending your organization to anyone i know is heading to thailand and im certain you will probly recieve a few french canadian soldiers asking about your programs. |

Big thanks to all the staff at Sunrise.
During 8 days of my holiday completed Open Water, Advanced Open Water and E.F.R. Rescue Diver training. All courses well run, with good staff, and pretty much 1 to 1 instruction with Ayala and Stephen.
Thanks to Charlie, for finding out about a medical condition that prevented my wife from having a possible injury if she dived, due to a previous medical condition.
Will be definately going back soon to get more dives done and to get to Master Diver level.

I would like to extend my gratitude for the experience of a lifetime that sunrise gave to me. I retired from the Irish army after 22 years service and I always wanted to do a diving course a friend of mine has been going to sunrise for some years now and on his recommendation I went to Phuket to see Charlie (during a 3 week holiday) from the moment I entered the sunrise dive shop I was blown away by the friendliness professionalism and the feeling of being welcome by Charlie and all the staff.
Two days later I was introduced to my instructor Ayala and started my Open Water course, from the word go I was very impressed by Ayala and her method of instruction and professionalism was the best I have ever come across in all my years in the army she hit top marks all the time. Five day?s later I was on my Advance Open Water course.

I would like to give a huge thanks to the whole of the Sunrise Diving team for making my diving experience with them brilliant fun. I felt very looked after both in and out of the water.
A special thanks to Dave my instructor who took me out on my first day as a discovery diver and made a nervous first timer feel very relaxed. As a result of which I continued on to do my open water and advanced open water with Sunrise and Dave. So thanks Dave for being a very patient and considerate teacher, because you helped me to overcome my fears, which meant that I had more confidence and could really enjoy diving!
I have no doubt that should I wish to further my diving qualifications in the future I will return to Thailand and to Sunrise Diving to do it.

I walked into the office to enquire about a days diving very nervous due to a bad experience previously. Charlie was fantastic and we decided to do the Open Water course instead so that we learnt all the skills.
Thank you to Graham for putting up with us and not rushing us! We went for our first open water dives feeling very confident and had an awesome time - so good that we decided to put our travels on hold and stay and go on a live-a-board 3 day trip to the Similan Islands and do the Advanced Open Water course with digital photography! It was awesome!
We really cant thank you enough especially Graham our instructor for this fantastic experience! We really have got the bug now and if we decide to do any more PADI courses we would only do it with Sunrise!

I would highly recommend using Sunrise for many reasons... being on my own the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and made the effort on and off the course to look after me.Sunrise shop is on the beach which mean't that after you got dropped off you could hang around and have a beer or ten with people (whereas most of the other diveshops are further back and not really that welcoming having wandered around a few before going with sunrise) . Instruction was great , thanks to Renee and Ryan and everybody else and I cannot wait to do the Similans in November and catch up with everybody . Cheers PAUL !!! |
