This rating denotes you as a person who: - Has a high level of personal diving skill.
- Has instructor level knowledge of diving theory.
- Has had significant training in how to assist an instructor during training activities.
- Is able to assume appropriate responsibilities that benefit the welfare of other divers.
As you may know, many PADI Divemasters go on to become PADI Instructors.
So, the training and experience you gain through the PADI Divemaster program helps shape your abilities and attitude toward becoming a professional level diving educator. As a PADI Divemaster, you'll be qualified to: - Organize, conduct and supervise recreational diving activities, both land and boat based.
- Assist a teaching status PADI Instructor in conducting PADI Diver programs.
- Teach the PADI Skin Diver Course and the PADI Discover Snorkeling programs.
- Conduct the PADI Discover Local Diving programs.
- If qualified as a Discover Scuba Diving leader, independently conduct Discover Scuba Diving in a pool or confined open water.
What's Included In The PADI Divemaster Course? - Assist on the full range of "REAL" PADI courses: compared to small quiet dive centers that have to simulate courses.
- Divemaster courses are set between 14 and 28 days.
- 28 days accommodation in one of Sunrise Diving's single air conditioned apartment's close to the dive center. (normally 250 UK Pounds)
- Unlimited diving up to 60 logged dives: which is the required amount of dives to become a PADI certified Divemaster.

What is required before i can start the PADI Divemaster course? - Candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age, and hold PADI Rescue Diver , (or equivalent scuba diving certification from another agency).
- Candidates must have logged a minimum of 20 dives to enroll and completed 60 dives in total to certify with a mixture of night, deep and wreck dives.
- Candidates must have a good physical ability and provide a doctors medical certification.
What can i do after the PADI Divemaster course?You can either work as a Divemaster or continue to the next level of education and become a PADI Instructor after completing our IDC program.
