PADI Rescue Diver:
During your PADI Advanced Open Water training, you developed your personal skills as a diver. You are comfortable and confident during recreational dives. But if an emergency situation arises, would you know what to do? As a Rescue Diver, your answer would be yes! The PADI Rescue Diver Course will expand your knowledge and experience beyond the purely recreational level, teaching you to look beyond yourself and consider the safety and well being of other divers.
Although this course can be intense, it is a great way to build your confidence.
If taken seriously, it will drastically improve your ability to handle almost any emergency situation.
Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the open water scenarios, you'll cover:
-Self-rescue and diver stress
-Dive first aid, emergency management and equipment
-Swimming and non-swimming assists
-Panicked diver response, underwater emergency response
-Missing diver procedures
-Surfacing the unconscious diver
-In water artificial respiration
-Egress (exits)
-First aid procedures for pressure related accidents
-Dive accident scenarios
Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary,
manage dive emergencies. During the open water scenarios, you'll cover: - Self rescue and diver stress
- Dive first aid , Emergency management and equipment
- Swimming and non swimming assists
- Panicked diver response , Underwater problems
- Surfacing the unconscious diver
- In water artificial respiration
- First aid procedures for pressure related accidents
2 / 3 Days. The course includes use of all diving equipment, PADI manuals, a Sunrise Diving t-shirt, and PADI certification costs. Where can I go from here? The PADI Rescue Diver certification will allow you to participate in the Divemaster course.
The Divemaster course is the first step towards a professional diving career.
